Like his article a lot, and I get his point, I feel that I NEED someone to ‘point the way’ sometimes, so I can learn HOW to work TOWARD meditation (or even bigger – all day mindfulness) and sometimes it helps me to use the tricks recommended by others even if it is a ‘mold poured by them’. I do get his point and think that is the ideal way to meditate – I’m just not sure that I will arrive at that type of meditation w/o using the ‘tricks’ recommended by others to get me onto the path.
